Job Title: Field Service Technician
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Field Service Manager

Summary: The Field Service Technician is responsible for properly providing start up, training and repair services of Ellis equipment as well as maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through proper communication with the customer and the Field Service Manager.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively serves customers by identifying, analyzing and rendering solutions and service tasks for customers in field or by phone with company growth in mind
  • Effectively evaluates products accurately for maintenance, warranty, upgrades and other purposes.
  • Effectively trains/educates on products assisting the client in better acquaintance with the product installed or remedied
  • Accurately identifying parts needed for equipment(s) or repairs
  • Accurately record and maintain internal client records and data in appropriate system(s)
  • Cooperatively takes on other duties, roles or responsibilities as assigned
  • Follows established company values rules, policies and procedures

Skills/Requirements:

  • Technical degree, diploma or equivalent experience required; Some project management experience
  • Must possess strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Understand technical problems effectively through proper analysis, evaluation and diagnosis
  • Intermediate skills in general Microsoft suite products
  • Highly motivated and results oriented
  • Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding and excellent services
  • Frequent travel with little to no advanced notice
