Job Title: Field Service Technician
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Field Service Manager
Summary: The Field Service Technician is responsible for properly providing start up, training and repair services of Ellis equipment as well as maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through proper communication with the customer and the Field Service Manager.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Effectively serves customers by identifying, analyzing and rendering solutions and service tasks for customers in field or by phone with company growth in mind
- Effectively evaluates products accurately for maintenance, warranty, upgrades and other purposes.
- Effectively trains/educates on products assisting the client in better acquaintance with the product installed or remedied
- Accurately identifying parts needed for equipment(s) or repairs
- Accurately record and maintain internal client records and data in appropriate system(s)
- Cooperatively takes on other duties, roles or responsibilities as assigned
- Follows established company values rules, policies and procedures
Skills/Requirements:
- Technical degree, diploma or equivalent experience required; Some project management experience
- Must possess strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude
- Understand technical problems effectively through proper analysis, evaluation and diagnosis
- Intermediate skills in general Microsoft suite products
- Highly motivated and results oriented
- Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding and excellent services
- Frequent travel with little to no advanced notice
